- Guar Gum is derived from the seeds of Guar Plant. The Guar Plant is an agricultural crop grown in the West and North West India – Rajasthan, Gujrat, Haryana, Punjab and some parts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. India is producing 80% of the world production out of which Rajasthan produces 70% of it.
Guar Meal
- Guar Meal is obtained after the mechanical separation of the endosperm from the husk and the germ of the ground seeds. On analysis it contains crude protein between 35 – 52% and should be a source of well-balanced protein.
- Guar Gum is a natural source of high protein. Hence, its use in the Animal/Cattle Feed. Guar Meal and Guar Korma are produced from the byproducts of Guar Gum.
Spices
India is one of the largest importer of Spices like Split Cassia, Cloves, Star Anise etc. Although India is producing these spices in the North East part of India, but the capacity is not enough to meet the requirements. And sometimes, its cheaper to Import, because of the local transportation cost from North Eastern part of India.

Chemical Name of Guar Gum is Cyamopsis Tetragonolobus.
Its largest use in the Food Industry where it is used as thickener and binder for free water. Guar Gum has application in various industries like Textiles, Oil Well Drilling, Mining, Construction, Explosives, Cosmetics & Pharmaceuticals and Paper.

In the Food Industry, Guar Gum is used as Stabilizer, thickeners and Emulsifiers. It is widely used in Ice Cream/Dairy Products, Bakery products, Noodles, Beverages, Processed Foods, Meat, Dressings & Sauces etc.
In Textile Industry it is used for Sizing and Finishing.
In Oil Well Drilling it is used as Fluid Loss Controlling Agent and as an Additive in Fracturing Fluids.
In Mining Industry, it is used in Concentration of Ores and Flocculation & better recovery.
In the Construction industry it is used as Waterproofing Agent. It is also used as Water Binding agent for Aqueous Slurry Agent in Explosives.
In Cosmetics and Pharmaceuticals it is used as Conditioner and Viscosifier, Thickener in toothpaste and Shampoo, as a Binder in tablets, and also as a Mild Laxative and soluble dietary fiber.
In the paper Industry it is used for improved sheet formation, increased bursting strength, increased fold strength, denser surface for printing and to get better finish.
Guar Gum is produced by grinding in attrition mills, hammer mills, ultrafine grinders or other size reduction equipment. Guar Gum powder is usually modified with chemicals to give them properties for broader applications. For Industrial applications, many of the Guar Gum products are formulated with different additives, which controls the rate of hydration, enzyme resistance, dry flow, dispersibility or other special properties.

Guar Gum is usually packed in dry, clean and unused polythene bags and placed inside multiply craft paper sacks.
Guar Gum is quite stable in the dry form, with long storage life. Its properties remain unchanged for 12 – 18 months. When exposed to humid conditions, it absorbs moisture which results in its degradation and lumping of powder. Once the bag is opened, preferably it should be used within a specified period.

Guar Gum is a natural source of high protein. Hence, its use in the Animal/Cattle Feed. Guar Meal and Guar Korma are produced from the byproducts of Guar Gum. It has high protein content of above 50%. This improves the digestive system of the cattle, improving the milk production capacity.
Guar Meal – Guar Churi and Guar Korma can be the one of the best supplements for cattle feed, as its one of the natural sources of high protein. Depending on the process, Guar Korma (in Granular form) and Guar Churi (in powder form) is obtained.
The processed form of this product, either in combination with other animal feed ingredients or directly given to the cattle as it is an efficient nutritional food.

RAW CASHEW NUTS (RCN) & CASHEW KERNELS

The quality of RCN is ascertained from its Outturn and Nut Count. The out-turn means quantity of useable kernels after its deshelled. It is expressed in lbs quantity in 80 kgs Jute Bags of RCN. The Nut Count means number of kernels per kg of the Cashew.
